Dustin Joubert – Running and Cycling Coach

Dustin is currently a Ph.D. student at Texas A&M University studying Exercise Physiology. He completed his B.S. (’07) and M.A. (’09) in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University (SHSU), where he also ran for their NCAA D-I level cross-country and track program from 2004-2009. While Dustin has been a distance runner all his life, his experience in multisport goes back to his early high school years participating in duathlon.

He has been fully involved in the sport of triathlon since 2010, and has had the privilege of serving as the Vice President of the Texas A&M Triathlon Club from 2010-2012.  The Texas A&M Triathlon Team has had great success at the national level, finishing in the top 5 at USAT Collegiate Nationals in 2010 and 2011. Dustin has  had the opportunity to coach TAMU Triathlon Team track workouts and assisted in coordinating team training and events.

Dustin’s instructional experience also extends to the classroom, as a Health & Fitness-Running class Instructor at TexasA&M since 2009. Additionally, while a Graduate Assistant in Recreational Sports at SHSU in 2008, he organized and coached a beginner triathlon training clinic and was the race director for a sprint triathlon on campus.

Triathlon is his true passion and he is excited to share that passion, along with his knowledge and experience in the sport, with the Trinity Multisport team!

Triathlon_LogoWe have numerous Collegiate Triathletes from Texas A&M that assist in training.  Many of these talented athletes have extensive backgrounds in swimming, cycling, and running.  They are an inspiration as role models and are wonderful with our young athletes.  We are blessed to have this talent in close proximity to our team.
